Lighten Up With White!

White flowers are a subtle palette color that works with just about anything else in the garden! From crisp to snowy, ivory to ‘dirty whites’, shades of white—white groundcover roses, white hydrangea, white peonies, white astilbe, white anemones—offer a clean, fresh, optimistic lightness. White adds a crispness that works well with warm or cool hues, stands out at night, and creates a calmness that encourages a relaxed mind.

Pick a small area in your garden and fill it with just white flowers! Don’t forget about adding white annuals too.

A Nighttime White Bloomer!

The moonflower is the nighttime sister to the beautiful morning glory, only it comes alive under the evening stars. They open at dusk! These creamy white blooms open in the evening and only stay in bloom at night.

These beauties are easy to grow from seed. Give them full sun and plenty of water and watch them take off!

Moonflower vines are overachievers and will reach a mature length of 20-feet. The entire plant will twine their way around anything near them, so it’s a great idea to provide a trellis or other support system for them to climb on.
